Medical software
An internal healthcare web application with role-based access, questionnaire workflows, medical software integration, and automated data ingestion from 5 medical devices.
The Challenge
The goal was to build an internal-only web application (accessible only on the organization network) that unifies patient-related digital information and simplifies daily workflows for doctors and assistants during treatment and report preparation.
The platform needed to handle, in one system:
- three separate authorization levels (admin, doctor, assistant),
- patient data coming from the core medical software,
- automatic measurement ingestion from five different medical devices,
- and the full questionnaire lifecycle.
The Solution
In Kamera, we implemented role-based access control so each user type can access only the data and features required for their responsibilities.
We built a complete questionnaire module with dedicated editor and filling interfaces, allowing staff to create medical questionnaires and complete them with patients during care.
The application includes a two-sided integration layer: it communicates with the institution’s medical software to load patient data, and with five medical measurement devices that automatically send measurement results. Incoming values are transformed into a unified format and stored under the correct patient record.
The Result
The final system provides a central internal platform where each patient’s personal data and events (for example questionnaire completions and device measurements) are visible in a single timeline view.
This significantly improved operational clarity, reduced manual data handling, and gave medical staff faster, more consistent access to the information needed for care and documentation.
